Our visionary, Shanae Bryant is a Durham, NC native. She is also a graduate of NCCU holding a degree in Hospitality Management. This minority, woman and family-owned business will hold true to its vision of "Heavenly Goodness" in every bite!

Affectionately known as Momma B, she is the heart and heritage of Madame B’s Bakery. Born and raised in Detroit, her passion for cooking and baking was cultivated at an early age, learning treasured family recipes from her parents. Her mother was renowned for her rich, homemade pound cakes, while her father became known for his unforgettable sweet potato pies—recipes that have stood the test of time.
With over 75 years of cherished, time-honored recipes, Momma B has lovingly passed down her knowledge through generations. Today, she continues to grow alongside her daughter, shaping the soul of Madame B’s Bakery with every dessert made. Her legacy lives on in every bite rooted in tradition, family, and the comforting taste of home.

As our Executive Assistant, Reytch manages the "recipe for success" behind the scenes, and she keeps our daily operations running seamlessly. From coordinating custom orders to managing the busy calendar of our kitchen and community events, she ensures that every detail is handled with care. Her dedication allows our decorators to focus on the art of baking while she ensures our business runs as smoothly as buttercream.
